    CANNON CANOSCAN 9000F REVIEW UPDATE

I'll update the comparison in a couple days.Canon has today announced the launch of its latest top-of-the-range photo and document scanner, the CanoScan 9000F, designed to meet the needs of photographers requiring a versatile and productive scanner also capable of scanning a range of film transparencies. For about 175.00, it does a fantastic job. Here's a couple samples from the Canon 9000f. ( I bet you knew that was coming), I stumbled across a new Epson V750 just a couple days ago. I can honestly say that I was very happy with it. The V750 is basically the same machine, but with better 3rd party scanning and calibration software and a facility for wet mounting negs.

The V700 has dust recognition software as well. Thank you I'll go with the EPSON then, but first I must resolve this issue with dust under glass on new EPSON V750 scanners (6 total now have had dust). I think after that point, it's just not getting any better. I have a friend that owns a Nikon CoolScan 9000 ED and you can literally see the grains of silver.

You can likely get away with something cheaper.Īs for film scanning, I've owned a Canon Canoscan 9950f and and Epson V700. But for scanning prints either one should do. I don't have any experience with either scanner. I can't find the information about EPSON V750 ? Hi, I wonder what scanner Epson V750 or Canon CanoScan 9000F is better for scanning old photos.Īs I understand the CanoScan 9000F has FARE 3 that can use infrared light to remove dust and scratches from photos.
